Qingdao Eaststar Wide-Width ABS/HIPS Sheet Production Line

The ABS/HIPS sheet production line of Qingdao EASTSTAR specializes in large-scale production of ABS (hydrocarbon copolymer) and HIPS (high-strength ethyl acrylate). The line has a single-screw extruder J150-35/1, which produces sheets with a diameter of about 2,000 meters and uniform thickness (1-6 mm). The extruder is made entirely of High-quality nitrided steel 38CrMoAlA steel and is equipped with an ABB frequency converter, which allows the output of these two raw materials to reach 400-600 kg/h.

The ABS/HIPS sheet production line also includes a centralized drying system, including a dry mixer and a vacuum dryer, to protect moisture-sensitive materials such as ABS,HIPS. The sheets are thoroughly dried before being discharged. Three rollers ensure precise thickness control and surface treatment. After pressing, the sheets are cooled on an 8-meter long cooling frame with 26 stainless steel rollers and then finally transported by traction machine. The entire ABS/HIPS sheet equipment uses Internationally renowned control components, For example, the temperature control system uses Omron intelligent temperature controllers from Japan, the low-voltage electrical appliances use Siemens AC contactors and so on.

Sheets produced by this ABS/HIPS sheet production line combine the toughness and heat resistance of ABS with the rigidity and cost efficiency of HIPS, enabling use in diverse sectors:
