TPU, also known as thermoplastic polyurethane, has advantages such as good elasticity, high transparency, good abrasion resistance, and a wide hardness range. However, TPU itself is heat-sensitive; excessive shear force or temperature can lead to degradation, yellowing, and bubble formation. Its melt is viscous, requiring special processing techniques to ensure the quality of the finished product.
Our TPU sheet extrusion equipment is specifically designed for TPU raw materials and is adapted to the characteristics of TPU.
The core extruder of this TPU sheet extrusion equipment features a TPU-specific screw with a lower compression ratio and a deeper spiral groove design, minimizing shear heat and preventing material degradation. Combined with a multi-zone barrel with precise temperature control (±1°C), it ensures uniform and gentle melting of the TPU raw material. Although TPU has lower hygroscopicity than nylon, the moisture it contains can still cause microbubbles. Our hot air dehumidification dryers ensure consistently low dew points, guaranteeing crystal-clear sheet outputs. Our three-roll calenders are equipped with independent temperature control units (typically requiring heating to 80-110°C), mirror finish, and fine polishing, ensuring high gloss, stress-free operation, and excellent ductility. Driven rubber roller traction devices prevent TPU sheet stretching or deformation, ensuring consistent roll quality.
1. Electrical system uses Siemens contactors, Omron intelligent temperature controllers, and Invt or Weichuang frequency converters.
2. Hardened gear reducers use high-torque gear reducers specifically designed for plastic machinery.
3. Screws and barrels use screws from Zhoushan, Zhejiang, one of the top ten domestic brands.
4. Sheet molds use molds from Huangyan, Zhejiang.
5. Mirror-finish rollers are manufactured in Changzhou or Qingdao.

Our TPU sheet extrusion equipment produces high-quality sheets, with main applications including:
Industrial Doors and Strip Curtains: Ideal for cold storage, cleanrooms, and workshops due to their transparency, low-temperature flexibility, and impact resistance.
Protective Covers and Linings: Suitable for machine protective covers, medical device covers, and high-end luggage linings due to their toughness and tear resistance.
Specialty Packaging and Inflatable Products: Utilizing the elasticity, sealing properties, and puncture resistance of TPU, it can be used to manufacture advanced protective packaging and inflatable products.
