So how does it actually work?

Fully automated seedling tray equipment uses a smart combo of continuous hot pressing and hydraulic punching. A servo motor feeds the plastic sheet—about 300–320mm wide and 0.8–2mm thick—into the heating zone. There, a far-infrared ceramic heater warms it up to just the right temperature. Next, with 100 tons of hydraulic force, it’s pressed into shape in one go inside a 400×600mm area. A built-in cooling system sets the shape quickly, and then it’s automatically punched and trimmed. All together, it can make 15–20 trays every minute.
